Do I have to be a member to get a loan from OMEGA FCU?

You may apply for a loan prior to opening your membership, but once approved you will need to establish your membership account with us prior to receiving your loan funds.

Do I have to come into a branch to apply for a loan?

No you do not need to come into a branch. Many of our members live out of state so we offer the ability to take loan applications over the phone by calling 412-369-3800 or click here to apply online.

How long does it take to be approved for a loan?

OMEGA FCU offers same day loan approvals. Our Loan Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

What interest rate will I pay on my loan?

We offer many different loan products at various interest rates. Individual rates may vary depending on type of loan, term of loan and credit worthiness.

Where do I call if I have questions about my Visa Card?

Please call 1-866-291-3148 for information about Visa card balances, payments, transactions or to request a balance transfer or limit increase.

When is my payment late?

You have a 15 day grace period after the due date to make your loan payment. If your loan payment is received after the grace period, you will be assessed a late charge and other account features such as ATM/Debit card use may be discontinued until payment is received.

What should I do if I am having difficulty making my loan payment?

Contact us immediately and we will discuss your situation and try to work with you to find a repayment solution.

Will I be reported to the credit bureau?

Yes, OMEGA FCU reports both current and delinquent loans to the credit bureaus on a monthly basis. Loan will be reported delinquent if they are more than 30 days past due.
