OMEGA FCU Giving Fund

OMEGA Federal Credit Union has a long standing history of community spirit and involvement. We invite you to become part of our tradition and support our efforts in order to help our members in their time of need. It is never too early or late to help those in need.

The employees at OMEGA FCU have been dedicated to providing their time, money, and full support to the fund since 2000. OMEGA FCU raises money year-round for our “fund”. Purpose

Conduct organized events where all members of OMEGA FCU have an opportunity to contribute money for a worthwhile cause. OMEGA FCU encourages volunteerism, community spirit, and goodwill towards our members, their families and business partner groups in need.

Criteria

Business Partner -The partner must be located in the community OMEGA FCU serves and 100% of the funds received must go to support the “cause”.  An application is required.

Member- Individual members of OMEGA FCU are eligible. An application for the award is required and must be completed by May 31st. 

Family- Families with membership in OMEGA FCU are eligible.  An application for the award is required and must be completed by May 31st.

Annual Awards

The annual award is based on the amount of money that is raised in the previous calendar year. Eighty percent (80%) of the money raised will be used to help a member or family in need. If no member/family applications are received, then a donation to Children’s Hospital will be made. The remaining funds will be awarded to support the various non-profit business partner groups of OMEGA FCU.

Raising Funds

Funds are raised in a variety of ways. If you would like more information on donating to help our causes, please email us at cbyrski@omegafcu.com. Examples of our fundraising efforts include:

  • Candy Sales in the lobby
  • Gift basket auctions
  • Annual Golf Outing
  • Employee Jean Days
  • Corporate donations
  • OMEGA matching funds
