Fisher Scientific Employees FCU Merger
Welcome to OMEGA Federal Credit Union, we are excited to have you as members. It is our goal to make the transition to your new OMEGA account as seamless as possible. Please find additional information here that should help you to get started using your new account.
Account Numbers
In most cases we were able to keep your Fisher Scientific account number (member number) the same. There were a few members who had to have a new account number assigned to them. If your account number was changed you will get notification from us in the mail.
Loans
Any loans that you had with Fisher Scientific Employees FCU have will transfer over to OMEGA FCU. Please note that your loan due dates, payment amounts, interest rate, and other terms will all remain the same. The only difference is that you will now make your loan payments payable to OMEGA FCU. Payments should be mailed to OMEGA at the following mailing address:

Digital banking
You are now able to enroll your account in our digital banking system. To enroll you will need your member number.
With our digital banking you will be able to manage your accounts 24/7 from your computer or mobile device. Once you are enrolled you can sign up for our additional electronic services including E-Statements, Bill Pay, Mobile Banking, and our Money$Manager budgeting tool.

Checking Accounts
OMEGA offers a completely free checking account that requires no minimum balance.
If you had a checking account with Fisher Scientific Employees FCU you should have received a complementary box of checks for your account in the mail the first week of January. You can begin to use these checks effective January 17th Please destroy any remaining checks from Fisher Scientific Employees FCU that you may still have.
If you would like to add a free checking account to your current account simply give us a call at 412-369-3800.
Debit Cards
Current Debit Card Holders- If you had a debit card with Fisher Scientific Employees FCU you should have received a replacement OMEGA FCU debit card in the mail. Once you receive your card you will need to call the number included with the card to activate your card and set your PIN number. If you have any issues activating your card please call us at 412-369-3800. Cards can begin to be used when your funds are transferred over on January 17th.
OMEGA debit cards can be used to access your account surcharge free at any PNC Bank ATM or for purchases (checking account required) anywhere that VISA is accepted. If you would like to add a debit card to your account please give us a call and we will be happy to get a card ordered for you.
VISA Credit Cards
Your current card with Fisher Scientific Employees FCU will still be valid for purchases. You will be receiving an OMEGA Remarkable Rewards VISA card in the mail and we will work to transfer your balance over to your new OMEGA Remarkable Rewards VISA card.
Will my payroll post to my new OMEGA FCU account?
Yes, your payroll from Thermo Fisher Scientific will post to your new OMEGA account and any payroll deductions that you had set up for loan payments, etc. will be processed.

Where will I be able to access my new OMEGA FCU account?
The Fisher Scientific Employees FCU office at 300 Industry Drive will be closing, however OMEGA has branch locations throughout the area and access to your account is available nationwide via our shared branching network.
