Teen and Student Accounts
Our Teen Checking account is available to students 12 – 17. This account is completely FREE and includes many convenient services for that busy student:
- Free Debit card with surcharge free access at all PNC and CU$ ATM machines
- 24/7 access through OMEGA’s Digital Banking
- No monthly service fees
- No Minimum balance requirements
- Ability to link account on-line to parent/guardian account to monitor/transfer funds
This account is similar to our Youth Account but starts to transition the account holder to handle their finances independently. Account statements are mailed quarterly or monthly with an active checking and there are no monthly service fees.
Teen Advantage Savings members are eligible for ATM and Debit cards. Both the ATM and debit card offer Surcharge Free ATM access at all PNC and CU$ networks. A parent or legal guardian must be joint owner on this account.
As teens are more tech-savvy, Free online banking, e-Statements and mobile banking might be a good addition to this account. Print and mail or drop off, fax to 412-369-3875, or email to ofcumembers@omegafcu.com
Send us a copy of a report card with at least one “A” during the school year and they will receive one time $10.00 deposit into their account. (Applies to students in Kindergarten to 12th Grade) Bring in a copy of the report card or Fax it to: 412-369-3828, or email it to ofcumembers@omegafcu.com
*At age 18, Teen Advantage Accounts are transferred to the regular membership account. If your child’s school does not use the “A’s” grading system we gladly accept any report card showing us that your child is doing their best.
The OMEGA FCU Student checking account is available to college/technical school students. Valid Student ID from an accredited school is required. Our Student account is free and includes many convenient services for that busy student:

Student Visa Account
To help students establish credit, OMEGA FCU offers a Student VISA credit card. This card features a low variable interest rate with No annual fees, easy balance transfers and excellent member service. It’s a great way to learn the ins and outs of using a credit card with a low line of credit.

Student Loans
OMEGA FCU is pleased to offer our private student loan program. It is the perfect option for students who need additional funding beyond what is available through federal student loans, grants and scholarships. This loan offers a fixed interest rate with a term up to 5 years and can be used to pay for school at any level – Primary through College.
