OMEGA FCU Giving Fund

OMEGA Federal Credit Union has a long standing history of community spirit and involvement. We invite you to become part of our tradition and support our efforts in order to help our members/SEG’s* in their time of need. It is never too early or late to help those in need.

The employees at OMEGA FCU have been dedicated to providing their time, money, and full support to the fund since 2000. OMEGA FCU raises money year-round for our “fund”. PURPOSE:

Conduct organized events where all members of OMEGA FCU have an opportunity to contribute money for a worthwhile cause. OMEGA FCU encourages volunteerism, community spirit, and goodwill towards our members, their families and SEG* groups in need.

CRITERIA:

SEG-The Select Employer Group must be in the field of membership of OMEGA FCU and 100% of the funds received must go to support the “cause”.  An application is required.

Member- Individual members of OMEGA FCU are eligible. An application for the award is required and must be completed by May 31st. 

Family- Families with membership in OMEGA FCU are eligible.  An application for the award is required and must be completed by May 31st.

ANNUAL AWARD:

The annual award is based on the amount of money that is raised in the previous calendar year. Eighty percent (80%) of the money raised will be used to help a member or family in need. If no member/family applications are received, then a donation to Children’s Hospital will be made. The remaining funds will be awarded to support the various SEG’s* within the field of membership at OMEGA FCU.

RAISING FUNDS:

Funds are raised in a variety of ways. If you would like more information on donating to help our causes, please email us at jclark@omegafcu.com. Examples of our fundraising efforts include:

  • Candy Sales in the lobby
  • Gift basket auctions
  • Annual Golf Outing
  • Employee Jean Days
  • Corporate donations
  • OMEGA matching funds
